Kappa Delta Pi is an international honor society in education that was founded in the year of 1911. The Epsilon Kappa Chapter of Kappa Delta Pi was founded on May 23, 1942. Invitation to Kappa Delta Pi is based on high academic achievement at the college level, a commitment to being an educator in the future, and a healthy attitude that ensures success in the education of students.

Membership in Epsilon Kappa Chapter of Kappa Delta Pi signifies more than a well-deserved line on a resume. Members have the responsibility as a recognized honor student to maintain the high ideals of the society and to extend its influence. Members attend chapter meetings, perform service projects financed through their own fund-raising, contribute to the organization, to the profession, and to society. Members have an obligation to model behaviors and attitudes appropriate to the honor bestowed upon them.

Membership requirements for Kappa Delta Pi include being enrolled in/taken at least 2 eduation courses, interested in the field of education, and an overall GPA of at least a 3.0.
